Mexican American Empowerment
Mexican American Empowerment is a dynamic coalition of organizations dedicated to uplifting the Mexican American and Latino communities within the New York tri-state area. Our mission is to create a comprehensive campaign that increases civic engagement and promotes voter registration, ensuring that our voices are heard and our rights are represented.
With nearly 2.5 million Latinos making up over 28% of New York City’s population, we recognize the power and responsibility of our community to shape the future. Our mission is to strengthen civic participation, advocate for equitable representation, and empower Latino voices at every level of society.
Our efforts focus on increasing voter registration, educating the community on key issues, and expanding access to civic engagement opportunities. Through a combination of ground organizing, digital outreach, educational initiatives, and strategic partnerships, we are helping to create a more informed, active, and empowered Latino electorate.
Mexican American Empowerment exists to ensure that our community’s voices are not only heard, but that they lead the conversations that shape our cities and our nation.
Together, we are building the future.
